What is dental physiotherapy?
Dental physiotherapy includes functional examination and therapies of stomatognathic tissues responsible for chewing, which mainly include: masticatory muscles, temporomandibular joints and the nervous system coordinating their work. Other muscles in the neck and head that are involved in chewing, swallowing and phonation are also taken into account.
